What Happens When We Outgrow a Version of Our Self

Raw Honey Bliss -Never Stop Growing

On the Spiritual Journey, we will experience outgrowing many versions of our SELF. This is completely normal. In fact, outgrowing versions of our self is partly why we are here on this Earth.

Although normal, the process can feel uncomfortable, unfamiliar and even confusing. When we change internally, our "outside" reality will change as well. This is what is meant by the phrase, "As Within, So Without." As you change you will notice that your transformation trickles down into every aspect of your life. How you see yourself will shift. How you see the world will shift. How you see people will shift. This is what happens when you are completely outgrowing a version of yourself—every aspect of your existence will cease to stay the same.

When you are in the process of outgrowing a version of yourself, one of your biggest questions will be along the lines of, "What do I do now?"

You might examine all aspects of your life and wonder whether you should hold on or let go of something as you transition to the next phase of your evolution. This includes people, places, objects, relationships, careers, etc..

I know from my own experience of outgrowing versions of myself how it feels to have this type of wonder. Holding on or letting go, when it comes to any matter in your life, can feel hard to do when you feel like you just don't know. But the truth is… You Do Know.

As an extension of Source, you inherently know the best way forward. The key is to simply allow.

An important part of the outgrowing process is to allow our physical body to naturally let go of what our soul is already letting go of on a higher level. As we change, everything in our reality will naturally shift to reflect the change, without us having to force anything. If you focus on simply allowing the process of outgrowing your old self, you will know whether to hold on or let go. If your soul is intent on holding on or letting go, it will naturally guide your physical self to do so. Remember that this applies to any matter you are considering at this time.

Our soul already knows exactly the steps to take as we expand and evolve within this lifetime. The process for outgrowing a version of our self is already set in place. Outgrowing people and things is a very natural and inherent occurrence on our soul's journey. It has less to do with questioning and more to do with allowing.

So whether it's a person, job or thing that you're considering letting go of or holding on to, if you give yourself permission to be in the space of allowing, which is the space that the soul naturally excels in, you will find that the process is not as unsettling or confusing as our physical selves make it out to be. By allowing, the resolution to any matter concerning our own outgrowing will unravel on its own.
